FILIMÃO CHAMBO is a general superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene. At the time of his election in 2017 he was director of the Africa Region where he previously had served as regional education coordinator. Born in Mozambique, his father and mother served in full-time ministry for the Church of the Nazarene, and at age 17 God called Fili to full-time ministry. He is a graduate of Seminário Nazareno em Mozambique (Diploma in Theology), Nazarene Theological College, South Africa (BTh), and the University of Johannesburg (MA and PhD in Biblical Studies). He served as a pastor in South Africa and Mozambique, and as president of Seminário Nazareno em Mozambique. Fili is married to Samantha, who is also an ordained elder. They have two children: a daughter, Tsakani Gabriella; and a son, Emanuel.

ALTHEA TAYLOR, an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene, currently serving as the Director for the Tom Nees Center for Compassion, Justice & Immigration for the Metro New York District in the Church of the Nazarene. She formerly served as the Executive Director for The Immigration Alliance. Rev. Taylor is the founder of Breathe Hope Inc., a non-profit, which exists to Restore Hope, Rebuild Lives and Renew Communities for those living in the margins of society. Rev. Althea Taylor holds a BA in Business Administration, a MS in Management of Technology, a Master of Divinity, and is currently a doctoral student at Nazarene Theological Seminary.

DAN BOONE is president of Trevecca Nazarene University, living out a calling to work with college students that became clear during his years as pastor of College Hill Church of the Nazarene (now Trevecca Community) on Trevecca’s campus. He earned MDiv and DMin degrees from Nazarene Theological Seminary and McCormick Theological Seminary. Dan has pastored churches in Illinois, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee. A respected speaker and lecturer, Dan is also a prolific writer, reflecting most often on the intersection of Christian faith and the world we live in. He is the author of more than a dozen books on a wide range of theological topics, from worship and unity to hard questions and hot-button issues. He and his wife, Denise, have three daughters and reside in Nashville. His aim is to give enduring gifts to the next generation through acts of leadership, devotion, vision, and compassion.

DIANE LECLERC grew up in Maryland, and graduated from Eastern Nazarene College, Nazarene Theological Seminary (M.Div), and Drew University (PhD, historical theology). She has pastored congregations in Maine and Idaho, and has published numerous articles and eight books, including Discovering Christian Holiness. Diane is in her third decade of service at Northwest Nazarene University as professor of historical theology, and travels often to speak in a variety of venues. In addition, she serves as Associate Pastor of Congregational Care at College Church of the Nazarene (Nampa) and ministers to about 80 older women every Tuesday as leader of a women’s Bible study.

BRIAN REDMAN, serves as the Worship Pastor and Creative Arts Director at Newark Church of the Nazarene. Creating meaningful experiences and significant shared moments in worship are key to his imaginative makeup. At Newark, he leads worship and the Worship Design team as they prepare to creatively communicate in a relevant way through the use of multimedia, multi-sensory worship, music, and the creative arts. Brian received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Communication at MVNU and a Master of Arts in Vocal Pedagogy at Ohio State University. He is the husband of Carolyn and father of Madeline and Charlotte. Brian and his family passionately share their love of movies, concerts, music, dance, The Voice, Broadway, and serving the Church.

DOUG VAN NEST, serves as the dean of the School of Christian Ministry at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He joined the faculty in 2016 as Professor of Pastoral Ministry and continues to teach in the areas of spiritual formation and pastoral theology and practice. Prior to coming to MVNU, he served as district superintendent for the Southwestern Ohio District Church of the Nazarene for 9 years following 18 years of pastoral ministry. Doug is a graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University, Nazarene Theological Seminary, and United Theological Seminary. He has been married to Lisa for 30 years and they have two sons.

CHRIS ADAMS, grew up in a music ministry family in the Nashville area and is a third-generation pastor’s kid. He is an ordained elder and served in full-time music ministry for several years after graduating from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1993, and later as associate pastor at Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene. He also provided pastoral care to missionary families for Nazarene World Mission while completing doctoral work at Fuller Theological Seminary. Chris is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Mental Health and the Church Initiative at Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology, Biola University, and teaches ministry leadership and pastoral care/counseling courses for several seminaries. A clinical psychologist, Chris is a consultant to a number of denominations and seminaries in the areas of clergy candidate assessment, clergy health, and pastoral leadership formation, and is a consultant, researcher, and writer with the Duke Clergy Health Initiative and the Flourishing in Ministry project. He is a frequent lecturer at seminaries, retreats, and conferences. Chris enjoys music (especially jazz), tennis, pickleball, coaching soccer, scuba diving, and playing with his two kids. He and his wife, Lori, live in Sierra Madre, California.

STAN REEDER, served as a youth pastor and lead pastor of growing churches in Canada and the United States for 25 years before serving for 11 years in the role of Superintendent for the Oregon Pacific District Church of the Nazarene. In 2020 Stan was elected as the Church of the Nazarene’s Regional Director for USA/Canada. He has a doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Strategic Planning. Stan enjoys hockey, rock climbing, and backpacking. His wife Janet recently retired as Vice President of Patient Care Services for a national healthcare provider. Stan and Janet have two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and one beautiful granddaughter.
